Eclipse User

I have a key binding of function key F2 invoking an action that gets a
set of application - In a different perspective and a different view - I
want function key F2 to perform another kind of function - how do I go
about doing it?

Appreciate any suggestions!

That's done by having different contexts active in the different views.
