display whitespace toggle shortcut [message #332059] Wed, 01 October 2008 16:09 Go to next message

Is there a way to turn off/on the display of whitespace characters in
Eclipse using a keyboard shortcut?

I know I can do this via Windows, Preferences, General, Editors, Text
Editors, Show Whitespace Characters, but would like to be able to toggle
this setting via the keyboard.

Thanks,
Chad

The command is named "Show Whitespace Characters" so you should be able
to find it in the Key bindings preferences (General > Keys) and bind it
to the shortcut of your choice.

Hope this helps,
Eric

I wasn't familiar with Quick Access. Very cool -- thanks for the tip!
