Hey folks!

I have another question about the command line update / the command line
mirror functionality.
There are update sites containing a whole lot of different versions of the
same feature. What I would actually only like to do is mirror the latest
feature of one kind or all features starting from a certain version to a
local destination.

For example:
An update site contains all features from 0.0.1 to 5.256.2. My default
installation contains version 5.256.1, so I only want to really mirror
version 5.256.2 to be able to update to this version from my local mirror.
All other versions would only be a waste of disk space.

I know the commands for running the update manager from command line,
inlcuding the argument "-version". But you always have to enter a certain
version number. Or is there a way to use wildcards, a keyword to only
select the latest or some other possibility to accomplish that directly
via the update interface?

Thanks in advance!
Christian

Hi everyone,

I assume that there is no solution for that besides checking the mirror
for all available features and versions and then programatically (script
on my PC) parsing and selecting the desired features and versions by some
kind or rules (e.g. only versions higher than a certain version).

Or is there an other approach? Please also let me know if you know that
there is no other solution, this would help a lot.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Christian
