Hi, My assignment is to develop our own specific search and to add this
option on Eclipse search Dialog. After reading through docs i found that
it requires me to develop search extension plug-in.I have written a
plug-in and copied it to \eclipse\plugin folder. After restarting the
eclipse i was expecting to see a new tab in search dialog but i don't see
it. i tried to programaticaly list the extensions under Search Extension
point there also i don't see the new extension i have added although list
all other three extension that come with my eclipse. It will be a big help
if somebody on the list can provide me any hint on this.

Which Eclipse version? If you are using 3.4 or new then you must put it
into the dropins folder.
