Currently when you select the Refactor menu the options Rename and Move
are presented to the user.

I want to extend the Refactor menu to provider my own options and own
version of Rename and Move based on my project type.

I am not sure how to get a reference to the refactor menu

Do I use an objectContribution or a viewContribution and what ids do i
use to the refactor menu

You may have to look into the ltk plugins and their extensions. They serve
as a base to the refactoring functionlity.
