Is there any chance I can get Eclipse C++ (Ganymede) working on Sparc
Solaris 10? It's starting to look as though I'm better off just
sticking with vi and make!

Try asking on the eclipse.tools.cdt group.

While the "Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers" is only build for a few
platforms, I believe the CDT plugins themselves are built for more
platforms.

The Eclipse platform itself is built for gtk/solaris/sparc
http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/R-3.4.1- 200809111700/index.php

However, looking at the CDT downloads page
(http://www.eclipse.org/cdt/downloads.php), the zip I downloaded only
appears to contains bundles for motif/solaris/sparc.
