Since Eclipse after all this time STILL doesn't properly build a
multi-platform update site through the UI, here's what I've done to
export it:
* Export the features with Export/Deployable Features, selecting all
the platforms that I need
* Merge the resulting directories so that all the fragments are in the
same plugins directory
* Upload the features and plugins directories, as well as my site.xml,
to the proper location
Now, I've checked the feature.xml file inside my feature's JAR, and
both fragments are listed correctly, with the appropriate platform
filters. Likewise, the platform filters on the fragment.xml's
themselves are correct.
But whenever I try to download the feature from the update site in 3.4,
none of the platform-specific fragments get downloaded -- on ANY
platform I've tried (Windows or Mac OS X). I've never had this problem
with 3.3 or prior.
The same thing happens if I have Export generate the new 3.4
artifacts.xml and contents.xml files. Everything gets downloaded from
the update site *except* for the platform-specific fragment.
Any ideas?
