I just "migrated" from Eclipse 3.3 to 3.4 (JEE). For some reason the
Open Type feature is not available. The short CTRL + SHIFT + T cut does
not work either. However Open Resource (CTRL + SHIFT + R) works perfectly.

Have I missed something or is this a bug or what?

seems like if I change the workspace location (create new one), the Open
Type is available again and it's working... I guess there is some broken
settings somewhere??

You probably want to clear out your metadata and start over so to speak,
sounds like some old 3.3 metadata is conflicting with 3.4.

(Or you can go in and re-assign Open Resource in the key binding section,
although that might not be the only issue you run in to)

Regards,
Emil

Maybe so or something else (bad) happened during the migration.
I think I've had the same .metadata folder from Eclipse version 3.1 :)
so I guess it's about the time to reconfig :)

What Perspective(s) did you try it in? Not all Perspectives are
configured to include the Open Type command (for example, Resources).
You can configure this via Window > Customize Perspective > Commands.

Hope this helps,
Eric
