Why doesn't the ProtectionDomain have a handle to a valid ClassLoader??? [message #329012]

When running my OSGi bundle under Equinox, it is apparent that
ProtectionDomains
loaded by the Equinox class loader, don't have a handle to a ClassLoader
instance:
Class c = Class.forName("aa.bb.cc.MyClass").getClass();
ProtectionDomain pd = c.getProtectionDomain();

if(pd.getClassLoader()==null)
System.out.prinelnt("protection domain class loader is null!!!");

Any help would be highly appreciated.
