I have downloaded and installed the 3.4RC2 RCP SDK package. Got everything
up and owrking fine, but code assist is not working within the Java
editor. I have not seen any comments on changes in this area. Have I
missed something?

Try doing a restore defaults in Prefs -> Java -> Editor -> content assist.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Restoring the defaults in for the Prefs -> Java -> Editor -> content
assist prefs does not correct the problem. However, Drilling down deeper,
to
Prefs -> Java -> Editor -> content assist -> advanced and resetting
defaults did help.

Thanks
