Hi,
I installed the new M7 of the upcoming Ganymede release (under ubuntu
hardy Linux).
I would like to install the Qt plugin as found at Trolltech site.
Following the (old) Trolltech instructions (direct copy of the files in
the .../features and .../plugins directories) apparently nothing happens;
i.e.: eclipse does *not* seem to see the plugin at all.
I tried using the new p2 Update manager, but it insists in .jar/.zip
archives, where Trolltech provides a .tar.gz
I even tried unpacking the .tar.gz and repacking into a .zip, but, as
expected, the result is not good.
Any ideas?

This is tangentially related, but how do I _uninstall_ it once I get it
there? I would like to remove the plugin, but there's no way to do so
from the UI, and I fear that removing it from the dropins directory
won't help me.

Actually, I believe that removing it from the dropins directory is the way
to get rid of it.
