I tried with Eclipse 3.2.1 (I haven't had a chance to try newer) to be
able to access an update site that is on a server that requires basic
authentication to get the files. It doesn't appear that the update
manager can handle this. Is this true? Does a later version detect this
and ask for userid/password?
