Hi all,

We use a lot the product extension mechanism through link files. We have
some extension locations installed somewhere and we have some link files
in the links directory with an absolute path to the extension.

It works fine when the path in link file is absolute. But it doesn't work
when specifying relative path in the link file.

Could you please tell me if there is something special to do to support
relative path in link files ? Otherwise, is it a bug or a known limitation
? If any, are there any plan for it ?

Regards,
Jerome

Jerome,

You and Manuel should coordinate your questions. If I recall correctly,
there was a bugzilla open about this and I seem to recall some
activities to support it in 2.4...

Thanks Ed for your answer.

You're right, we didn't coordinate with Manuel on this topic, sorry about
that.

In fact, the relative path work correctly. Previously, we failed because
we specified a path relative to the .link file. We have to specify a path
relative to eclipse.exe to do it work properly.

Jerome
