I want to create a 'selection' part that looks like the selections in

Have you looked at the Nebula project? It contains a bunch of "rich"
widgets/viewers that go way beyond basic STW and JFace.

Many thanks. The PShelf looks promising. I was amused by the text in the
examples - looks like it was written by a fellow Brit, or a soccer fan
