Hello,

How to install plugins manually?
I want to install visual editor and uml2 plugins
but when I try to update inside aclipse it can't
connect because of a network problem.

I can download the plugins from the download
site but when I copy the folders in the plugins
folder nothing happens.

How to install plug-ins manually?

Thank you

Are you unzipping the plugins directly into the plugins folder?

I unzip i.e. VE-runtime-1.0.1.1 and it generates 2 folders:

features and plugins

I copy the subfolders in the eclipse\features and eclipse\plugins.

It Sounds bad? :)

Hernán,

Run Eclipse once with the -clean command line option. For example on
Windows: Start->Run-> "C:\path_to_eclipse\eclipse.exe" -clean

Also you should be using VE 1.0.2 :)

Hope this helps,

- Jeff
