those jar files in the plugin folder, I get a java exception:
java.lang.IncompatibleClassChangeError.
Is there some place where I can find info on how to upgrade from eclipse
3.1 to europa. A link to such place would also really help. Also, in case
this is not the correct news group, request to let me know where can I get
the help.

Venkatesh,
You need to install Eclipse 3.4M4 if you want to use WTP 3.0M4. (And
Europa is Eclipse 3.3 not 3.1.) This Europa download includes WTP:

If you have 3.1, you can't just upgrade it. You must install a new
version of Eclipse (such as the link above with includes WTP) and it's
highly recommended you *not *install it over top of the existing
installation of 3.1 but rather put it in a new or clean location.
