kit is very effective tool more than chm format cuz it can run OS
indepenence, so

how i can get build my help content standalone without eclipse, like chm

Hi,

Are you mostly asking about a standalone tool for authoring your help
content, or for a tool to run the Eclipse help system "standalone" without
the rest of the Eclipse SDK running?

If you are asking about authoring help content and a tool for authoring, I'm
not sure how many standard help authoring toolkits will output the Eclipse
help system format. There is one, the DITA Open Toolkit, that will generate
all types of help system formats, including the Eclipse help system files,
from a single source format named DITA. You can find the DITA Open Toolkit
at Sourceforge: http://dita-ot.sourceforge.net/

If you are asking about running the Eclipse help system itself in
"standalone" mode without the rest of the Eclipse SDK, the Eclipse
documentation has some instructions on how you can set that up. For Eclipse
SDK 3.2, see this topic:
http://help.eclipse.org/help32/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse. platform.doc.isv/guide/ua_help_setup_standalone.htm

At IBM alphaWorks site is a package that is the standalone help system
set-up, but at the Eclipse 3.0.1 code level:
http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/iehs

If you find that you have lots of questions about creating content for the
Eclipse user assistance/help system, you might try joining the Yahoo Group
for Eclipse Technical Writers: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/eclipse_tw/
