Could someone walk me through creating, compiling and running a simple
"hello world" C program? I don't seem to be able to get Eclipse to do
anything I want. Is there a walkthrough for this somewhere?

Eyal,

Have you looked through the CDT project's FAQ?
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/cdt- home/user/faq.html?cvsroot=Tools_Project

There's also more information linked to from CDT's homepage.

Hope this helps,
- Jeff

Thanks for the useful link. It's not a very clear FAQ, but coupled with
your other response about tools in the system path, I will hopefully get
it to work. It also made me realise that I should probably post to the
CDT newsgroup.
