New and Noteworthy
Advanced Source Lookup for Apache Tomcat and Preview servers | Advanced source lookup provides correct source lookup when the runtime classpath is not fully known in advance and/or contains multiple versions of the same class, including downloading sources archives from remote artifact repositories (e.g. Maven Central) automatically when they are needed. See bugs 506149 and 534883 for details. This feature requires an active Internet connection. |
Automatic API documentation | Documentation for Java EE APIs will now be available throughout the UI for projects targeting either Apache Tomcat or the J2EE Preview server. See bug 265383 for details. This feature requires an active Internet connection. |
JAX-RS 2.1 | Projects can now declare that they require JAX-RS 2.1 support when deploying to a runtime. |
Dark Mode | Content Assist proposals in WTP's editors now respect the Dark Theme color settings. |
Miscellaneous | The Snippets View and JSP Java Search functionalities have been restored. The latter also has improved performance. |
