Joan is a contributor to the Web Services component of the Eclipse Web Tools Platform project.

Biography

Joan started at the IBM Toronto Software Laboratory in 1993 and has worked on various application development technology products. Since 2000, Joan has been involved with the XML, Data and Java Connector Tools teams. Most recently, she joined the Web Services Tools team and became a contributer for the WTP project. Joan has published several papers in both WebSphere Developer Journal and WebSphere Developer Domain. She has also presented webcasts and at numerous conferences including LinuxWorld and developerWorks Live. She holds a Hon. B.Sc. in Computer Science and a M.Sc. in Computer Science specializing in Human-Computer Interaction.
