The sections below list the touchpoints we see with other Eclipse projects and describe our collaboration with these. If you think the work of your project is related to Stardust, feel free to contact us under stardust-dev@eclipse.org.
All of Stardust's reporting capabilities rely on Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT). Find more details here..
The Stardust team intends to work closely with the BPMN 2.0 Modeler project to merge as much of the code we can and leverage synergies wherever possible.
Currently, the document management and processing capabilities of Stardust are relying on JackRabbit, however the implementation is using the Java Content Repository (JCR) standard to abstract JackRabbit. As soon as the project roadmap allows it is intended to also provide an integration with the Eclipse Content Repository (Nuxeo).
The Stardust team is intending to use the Business Process Metamodel and Notation (BPMN2) for all of its future modeler work
The Stardust team is aiming for a deployment of the Stardust Runtime on Virgo.
We intend to use Equinox to manage our artifact loading via OSGI.
We intend to contribute our work on a browser-based BPMN modeler for Stardust (see Features) to Orion and actively participating in Orion in general.
