Description

Blinki (formerly named "FireFly"), which will include the open-sourced WebKit for SWT, is part of the Device Software Development Platform (DSDP) project. Initial feature releases are planned to begin in Q4 '09.

The Blinki project proposes to include the following mobile web frameworks and tools:

  • simulated smartphone web previewer framework
  • smartphone browser DOM inspector and JavaScript debugger
  • web UI rendering kit
  • device service access framework
  • deployment framework
  • educational resources
