Linux Distribution Packaging

Our Eclipse SDK building project, eclipse-build is progressing well and with our 0.3.0 release (targetted for 19 August 2009) we will release tools to build the Eclipse SDK for Linux distributions. We hope all distributions will get involved.

We have a few pages with lists of things that need to be fixed on the packaging side of things. These pages should be migrated into bugs:

We also need to update this diagram of the Fedora Eclipse SDK packages and ensure that all distributions use a similar hierarchy:
