How can a remote client, other than the browser, establish authentication with the server to access one of the APIs?

For instance, when attempting to make the following call using Postman:

GET /gitapi/clone/workspace/{workspace_id}/

I am redirected to the login page instead of accessing my intended workspace. I have also attempted to employ basic authentication with my credentials, but the issue remains unresolved.
