As the title says - is it possible to drive an RCP application compiled/running with Apple ARM Java (M1/M2 AArch64)? Is it still possible with RCPTT compiled/running with Intel x86_64 Java? Has anybody already had related experiences?

As far as I see, the downloads only provide the IDE and Runners for Apple/Intel (x86_64), so on M1/M2 they run via Rosetta.
So, would it be possible to test an RCP application compiled with ARM Java (and running on a native ARM JRE) with those x86_64 based RCPTTs? Or would this require recompiling and repackaging RCPTT for AArch64 using ARM Java?
