BIRT Support for JavaScript Timers/Intervals [message #1840242]

I have been asked to make some of the data I present be dynamic based on time. For example, I have a column that displays the amount of time left before a ticket misses an SLA. The client would like that column to update every few minutes without having to refresh the entire report. I have tried using a setTimer and setInterval function but BIRT does not appear to support it; I get errors when included.

Is there way to allow these functions or some other method to refresh column data without refreshing the report?
