I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question, so please let me know if it's not.

I just started using MQTT and chose Mosquitto. I have a web application that needs to connect with Mosquitto through websocket. Currently I have Mosquitto running on a Windows 2019 server. Is it still true that Mosquitto limits the number of concurrent websockets to 64? Does Linux have this same limitation?

The limitation of 64 sockets (which wasn't to do with Mosquitto itself) was removed a while back, I believe it's now around 2048 clients.

Is the 2048 limit true for both Windows and Linux installations?
