We have an RCP application which includes the Eclipse Help "Check for Updates" function. We would like to create an RCPTT test that executes the Help Check for Updates and actually modifies the AUT. I think that RCPTT always creates a deployment of the AUT in a working directory, so that the p2 update modifies the AUT deployment and not the original AUT location. Is my understanding correct? Is there away to use RCPTT to drive an update of the AUT so that when the AUT is started outside of RCPTT it has been updated?
