Can't unblock ports in Kura Firewall [message #1787197]

I have Kura running on a raspberry pi 3, with Artemis MQTT enabled.
I can't seem to connect to it in any way. I opened port 1883 in Kura Firewall to no avail.
Subscribing with mosquitto_sub returns "refused to connect".
Same goes for telnet on port 5002 for which Kura firewall comes preconfigured.

SSHing to the raspberry pi and subscribing to artemis mqtt on localhost works fine so artemis is configured correctly.

I have to mention I am connected to the raspberry pi which is configured as a wifi access point from Kura. However I get the same results if I connect the RPi to my router with ethernet and access it from there.
