Hi all,

I'm really confused about whether or not is the Kura platform officially supported on Windows. For instance:

1. According to Eclipe IoT Gateway page (https://iot.eclipse.org/gateways/)
Windows is a supported OS including Linux

2. According to the Kura-dev mailing list (https://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/kura-dev/msg00523.html)
Kura for Windows is "now available"

However, when I go to the Kura downloads page (https://eclipse.org/kura/downloads.php) there are no installs for Windows

So, can someone help me to understand what is going on here?

Thanks,

Bruce

Hi,
currently it's not possible to install Kura on Windows: we had some legal issues with the original contribution. Then, no one completed the work to have Windows natively running on Windows, maybe due to a lack of interest.

If you are willing to do that, it would be a great contribution to the project.

Best regards,
Matteo
