Hi,

I was happy to discover that complex data operations can be easily implemented in Acceleo with custom queries of the form [query ..../].

This was promptly followed by the (re-)discovery of another gendoc bug (sorry to say that but it's true :( See my other postings):
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=463902

Is the procedure described in https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=rview&goto=1693155#msg_1693155 still the recommended work-around?

I still hope that I can avoid writing a gendoc bundle... (the bug report is from 2015).

Hi,

I upload a fix for that. It create a new bug no long ago fo that, Bug 521509. As I upload a fix to Gerrit, I close the Bug 463902 as duplicated.

Reinhold, you could download the Gerrit change, or let me know and I can prepare a build with it for you.

Also I think you may be interested in this also, Bug 521507 - Recursive Fragments are not supported (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=521507)

Regards
Antonio

Fantastic!

That would be great. I have downloaded the gendoc sources a while ago (to better understand the error messages), but I have to admit I have no idea how to build an installable eclipse plugin (?) from that.

I just create a custom build for this issue. You can update your Gendoc using this update site:

You are welcome.

Let me know if you face any issue with the queries or with the recursive fragment fix.

Regards,
Antonio.
