Hello Everyone,

I know this is a pretty common and pre-addressed question as to select a MIN/MAX date to be displayed on a BIRT report, but still would like to get some help regarding selecting a MIN date from the date column. Also I am using a scripted datasource and thus not able to write SQL query to filter the data.

Issue: Date column in the data set has 2 dates 1- 12/31/2016 and 2- 02/07/2017

Current behavior: BIRT report displaying 02/07/2017

Expected behavior : Report should display 12/31/2016
I tried sorting, changing mappings and bindings, data type etc. but nothing helped.

Any help on this is appreciated.
Thank you,
