Software & Devices based on eRCP


Devices

  • U.S. service provider Sprint now has Windows Mobile phones that include the Sprint Titan runtime. This runtime is based on eRCP and supports running eRCP applications. Sprint also provides an Eclipse based toolkit to aid in developing, debugging and deployment of eRCP applications to Sprint phones.
     
  • Nokia S60 3rd Ed.FP2 or later devices include eSWT as a pre-installed component that is available to MIDP midlet developers. A list of Nokia phones with eSWT support can be retrieved from Forum Nokia search pages

Software

  • Jakoon is an image manipulation application written for Java ME. It uses eSWT for all UI rendering and is fully touch enabled for fullscreen image manipulation. Licensed under Apache License 2.0

Middleware

  • Lotus Expeditor Runtime is based on eRCP and provides middleware to ease the development of enterprise type applications. It includes DB2e database support, Web Container for running web applications off-line, and Web Services. The runtime can also be remotely managed.

On-Device Debugging

  • Lotus Expeditor Toolkit helps you develop eRCP applications on desktop or device. Apps can be easily deployed to devices and remotely source code level debugged just like on a desktop.

Visual Design

  • eRCP Designer is a GUI construction tool for mobile and embedded development. eRCP Designer is based on WindowBuilder technology from Instantiations. It supports the Eclipse eRCP framework and integrates into the Eclipse development environment. eRCP Designer gives mobile and embedded developers powerful capabilities like a visual design editor, wizards, intelligent layout assistants, and embedded device templates.

Profiling

  • ProSyst JProfiler enables Java developers to tune up the performance of their Java programs. It combines in a single tool the capabilities for detailed examination of VM load and applications' work, for memory usage and CPU loading, etc.
